Finding Fine Art

The Boston Museum of Fine Arts is the highest rated attraction in Boston on TripAdvisor, and with good reason. It houses one of the world's most comprehensive art collections and is the city's oldest, largest and best-known art institution. Located less than twenty minutes from our Boston waterfront hotel, the museum's collection is so vast that it's possible for visitors to spend the better part of a day there and still not see all the works of art it has to offer. Currently, the MFA has an exhibition of works by the acclaimed Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai that includes his most famous piece, "Under the Wave of Kanagawa," more commonly known as "Great Wave." On display until August 9th, make sure to head to the museum and check out this piece of art history.
