Boston is such a romantic city when it comes to the month of Valentine’s Day. Walk just ten minutes from the hotel and you will arrive at Christopher Columbus Park; each year, Friends of Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park decorate a “Tunnel of Love” for lovers.  Boston Magazine has named Columbus Park one of the “Top 10 Most Kissable Places” in all of Boston.

TIP:  take a romantic shot by the Boston Harbor in the late evening when the Trellis Lighting turns bright blue that is beautifully lit every night during the winter season.

Other romantic events in Boston include a romantic boat ride through the harbor by Spirit Cruises or Odyssey Cruises and a night with theatre & arts. Lights, action, music! Enlighten the evening to where the heart desires. Choose from classical concerts, ballets, Broadway shows, and more in the nearby areas:  Boston Opera House by Citizens Bank, Wang Theatre, and Boston Symphony Hall .

Whether you’re looking for love or wanting to celebrate love with your special one, the Boston museums offer one of the most romantic ambiances. Impress your partner with a visit to Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum for an event of the Weekend Concert Series or Third Thursdays where the museum is open late at night. Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) features art, wine, tapas, and music on their weekly First Fridays and if you’re closer to Seaport, the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) features a live DJ, cocktails, and live performances also named First Fridays.
